What We Collect
Baby Name Picker collects only what is needed to make the app work:
- Account information – email address and authentication credentials via Firebase Authentication. You may sign in with Email or Google.
- Email Address – collected for account management.
- Baby name preferences (likes, rejects, combos) and a shared last name – stored in a shared space so you and your partner can see each other's picks and find the names you both like.
How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and provide a personalized experience.
- To store and sync your app data across devices.
- To provide account management using your email address.
- To connect you with your partner in a shared space and show the names you have both accepted.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not serve ads. We do not use your data for profiling or marketing.

The app uses the following services, governed by their respective privacy policies:

Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing admin@altavilla.dev. Upon request, we will delete your authentication record and all stored documents associated with your user ID within 30 days.
Data deleted includes:
- Account profile and login credentials
- Email Address
- Baby name preferences (likes, rejects, combos) and shared last name
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Google Cloud infrastructure. Firestore security rules restrict access so that only members of a shared space can read its data, and each member can only create, change or delete documents tagged with their own identity.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
